Tracy Souza

Background

Tracy is a pattern & fabric designer and author. She lives in a quiet suburb of Nashville and enjoys designing, teaching, and speaking about embroidery, and quilting. Tracy learned basic embroidery stitches early in life and has been stitching them for over 30-years now. Plumcute Designs is the natural merging of these two passions.

What began in 1999 as a pattern company for quilt designs, evolved into two decades of drawing, stitching, and developing patterns for embroiderers world- wide. In 2020 Tracy licensed her artwork and released her very first line of fabric, called Sew Merry & Bright, with Studio 37 a division of Marcus Fabrics. To date she has three lines of fabric in publication and a fourth on the way.
