Cajun music is serious business for Nashville’s Runner of the Woods. Led by Texas-raised Acadian, Nick Beaudoing, they’ve earned a reputation for wildly energetic live shows. Whether it’s traditional Cajun two-steps played at breakneck speed or hardcore honky-tonk, they bring the dancehall wherever they go.

Their debut at the Willow Oak Center is a rare occasion to see these boys blow off some steam. They have been hard at work in the studio,  recording a new album of raw country and sparkling Americana. Produced by Springfield native, Stephen Daly, it’s the perfect soundtrack to a late drive night straight out of town. Watch for it in the fall of 2024.

In the meantime, they’ll be in Springfield March 16th to bring some Mardi Gras fire. Be there!

Runner of the Woods

“A stalwart of Nashville, Tennessee’s country scene, Runner of the Woods is fronted by Nick Beaudoing, who draws from honky-tonk, indie rock, and even his French roots. In the end, it all comes out sounding like country.  At long last, he understands this is a beautiful thing.”
