Cut Glass Mosaics

Come help me turn trash into treasure. During this class students will play with principles of design, cut glass scraps, and cast off glass from old frames to create a glass on glass mosaic reminiscent of stained glass but lighter and airier, without the heavy leading (and toxic fumes) of traditional stained glass. In the process students will have the opportunity to learn about and experiment with glass cutting tools. Don’t let the thought of cutting glass turn you away from the fun.
