Vibraphone Trio Concert | Saturday, October 5, 2024

Influenced by the sounds of jazz, funk, and hip-hop, this Vibraphone Trio veers between delicate, tasteful grooves and more eclectic, experimental visions while upholding traditional and swing and blues feels.  They hope to bring you in and make you feel included with their range of styles. This concert’s set list includes All of Me by Billie Holiday, Body & Soul by Frank Sinatra, All Blues by Myles Davis, Isn’t She Lovely by Stevie Wonder, and I Love her by The Beatles.

Each ticket includes hors d’oeuvres and mingling, served at 6pm when doors open.

Parker James

Parker James is a multi-faceted percussionist, freelance vibraphonist and composer based in Nashville, TN. He holds a masters degree in music from University of Colorado, Boulder. He is a sought after performer and session musician who is at home playing across a spectrum of genres and styles from orchestral and chamber music to jazz and indie rock.

Paul DeFiglia

Paul DeFiglia is a bassist, keyboardist, producer, and audio engineer with a recording studio based in East Nashville, TN. He studied classical bass at the University of the North Carolina School of the Arts and jazz at New York University. His recording and performing credits include Irma Thomas, The Avett Brothers, Little Freddie King, Langhorne Slim, Elan Mehler and more.

Anson Hohne

Anson Hohne is a drummer, percussionist, and composer in Nashville, TN. He studied jazz drum set at Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. He performs regularly with jazz players and songwriters in Nashville and leads his own project, contemporary jazz ensemble The Look Aways.
