Urban Sketching with Watercolor
While there is some overlap between plein-air and urban sketching, the former tends to focus on the aesthetic outcome of the finished piece, whereas the latter’s primary goal is on storytelling, witnessing, and recording, using any medium, indoors and out.
Join us for two weeks of exploring storytelling through urban sketching with watercolor. In the first week we will go over quick sketching basics and tools of watercolor. Throughout our time together we will enjoying creating outside and in the classroom working to develop your creating on the go style. Tuesdays, July 9 & 16 | 6:30 – 8:30 PM | $75 | Danielle Taylor | Ages: 12+ (11 and under allowed if accompanied by a parent!)
Watercolor Zen
In this two week class, Danielle will go over watercolor basics and how to create your own abstract watercolor piece. You will learn color theory and how it relates to your work and pallet. Tuesdays, August 13 & 20 | 6:30 – 8:30 PM | $75 | Danielle Taylor | Ages: 12+ (11 and under allowed if accompanied by a parent!)
