Muzetta Miller is an expressive arts instructor and musician with training in expressive arts from Sound Health Alternatives in Nashville, TN. She used expressive arts in her grieving process after the death of her relationship in 1997.

Ami Fletcher is an Austin Peay State University graduate with an M.S. in counseling and a certificate in Spiritual Direction from the Haden Institute in Asheville, NC. She is also a Brainspotting practitioner. She is currently a mental health therapist at The Counseling Center at First United Methodist Church in Springfield, TN.

Using the Arts to Work Through Grief

Have you lost a loved one to death, divorce or moving away, recently or long ago? Or have you lost a special pet?  The arts can provide ways of dealing with feelings that can be overwhelming.  Activities will include listening to music, journaling, and creating art in class and at home.  No previous arts experience necessary. Saturdays, February 8, 15 & 22 | 10:30 – 12 PM | Ages: 18+ | $60 | Instructed by Muzetta Miller and Ami Fletcher
